Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Named Among World’s Best in 2026 Skytrax Awards
Top-10 rankings highlight strong global and regional performance for Toronto’s downtown airport
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport has once again been recognized among the world’s best airports in the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards, earning Top-10 rankings in two categories.


Toronto, ON (March 19, 2026) – Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport has once again been recognized among the world’s best airports in the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards, earning Top-10 rankings in two categories.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport ranked 10th in the category of Best Regional Airports in North America, one of only two Canadian airports to make the list behind Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport. Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport also ranked 10th globally in the World’s Best Airports serving under 5 million passengers category, one of only three airports in North America to make the list. Billy Bishop Airport also achieved a 4-star Skytrax rating, reflecting consistent quality across customer service, facilities and operational efficiency.
The Skytrax World Airport Awards are based on the world’s largest airport customer satisfaction survey and are widely regarded as a benchmark for excellence in the aviation industry. In the independent survey, passengers continued to rank Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport highly across 39 key performance indicators, including fast check-in times, and the courtesy and efficiency of airport staff.
